Incident Summary:

08/23/2005: A suicide bomber killed seven people, including two Americans, when he rushed into the Joint Coordination Center for Diyala (Governorate) compound in Baquba where officials coordinate emergency response efforts in the region. 20 people were injured in the explosion including nine US soldiers. Al-Qaida Organization in the Land of Two Rivers claimed responsibility for the attack.
