Incident Summary:

11/14/2005: Two unidentified perpetrators launched an attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) compound in Srinagar, India killing four people including two soldiers. 13 civilians were injured in the hour long battle between the perpetrators and the CRPF officers as well. Two groups, Al-Mansoorian and Islamic Front, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Additional Information A man who identified himself as Abu Usama called a local news agency claiming to be a spokesman for Al-Mansoorian. He indicated that four of the group's fighters carried out the attack on the CRPF compound. Indian police, however, indicated that two perpetrators had been involved in the attack.
