01/30/2006: In Thailand’s Yarang district, Pattani province, gunmen shot dead Somsak Musami, 45, an employee of the National Reconciliation Commission and an army recruiting officer’s assistant. The victim was killed while watching television at home. There were no claims of responsibility for the attack, but police think it is linked to the southern insurgency.
