Incident Summary:

04/28/2006: Indian telecommunications engineer, K. Suryanarayan, was kidnapped by the Taliban on April 28, 2008. The Taliban threatened to kill the engineer who was working for a Bahrein-based company, if their demand that all Indians leave Afghanistan was not met by 7 p.m. [1430 gmt], on April 30th. Mr. Suryanarayan's body was found, beheaded, by a police patrol in Afghanistan’s Zabul province on April 30th.
