Incident Summary:

07/20/2006: Two NGO vehicles traveling in the uncleared area of Silavathurai, Mannar, Sri Lanka, were attacked in a claymore mine explosion at approximately 2:30pm. Three NGO officials working on a World Bank-funded project were injured when one of the vehicles was hit, and five members of the LTTE were killed in the attack when the other NGO vehicle was hit.
