Incident Summary:

07/30/2006: Two Iraqi civilians were killed and six wounded when a car bomb exploded in Arafa Naftiya area, Kirkuk, Iraq, where the United States and British consulates and the headquarters of the Northern Oil Company are housed. Sunni extremists Ansar al-Sunna and al-Qaida in Iraq are suspected to be responsible for the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
