Incident Summary:

10/31/2006: A convoy of 16 minibuses was attacked by insurgents in the Salah al-Din (Governorate)of Iraq, north of Baghdad. Eleven people were kidnapped from the convoy, including prominent persons from Shi ite towns, who were heading to Baghdad to meet with senior Iraqi officials. No claim of responsibility has been reported.
