Incident Summary:

11/24/2006: Mahdi Army militiamen, armed with machine guns and rocket propelled grenades swept through the Sunni dominated Hurriyah neighborhood in Baghdad, Iraq, burning four mosques, several homes and attacking worshipers as they left services. At least 25 Sunnis were killed and 14 were wounded in the attacks. No claim of responsibility was reported.
