01/24/2007: A Sudanese plane carrying 103 passengers and crew was hijacked and diverted to the Chadian capital of N'Djamena, where the hijacker surrendered. No casualties were reported. The hijacker was identified as Mohammed Abdelatif Mahamat. He reportedly intended to stress the plight of the conflict in Darfur.
