Incident Summary:

1/30/2007: Around 20 members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) fired a rocket at a detachment of Algerian soldiers stationed at a school in Bousselem, Algerian. Four soldiers and one member of the municipal guard was killed and the building was damaged. Following the attack, the surviving soldiers pursued the assailants. Ten Islamic extremists were killed and several others were wounded.
