Incident Summary:

01/31/2007: Nine Iraqi soldiers were wounded as a suicide bomber driving an oil truck blew himself up after he was stopped near a checkpoint near an Iraqi army headquarters in Muqdadiyah, Iraq. The Iraqi police stopped the bomber about 100 yards away, making the bomber detonate his explosives prematurely. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
