Incident Summary:

03/13/2007: The presidential residence of Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed in Mogadishu, Somalia was attacked by armed assailants with firearms and mortars. The president was uninjured but a 12 year old boy was killed and three other children wounded when one of the mortars missed the palace. It was unclear who was behind the attack. No claim of responsibility was reported.
