04/02/2007: Suspected Islamic militants attacked a private radio station in Nigeria's largest northern city, damaging its transmitter. The militants, armed with batons and knives, hurled stones at Freedom Radio for broadcasting views that were considered heretical to the Prophet Mohammed. No group made a claim of responsibility for the attack.
