Incident Summary:

05/08/2007: In the Delta region of Nigeria rebels blew up three oil pipeline which resulted in the Agip/Eni oil company reducing their production of oil by 150,000 barrels a day. The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta claimed responsibility, stating that they were trying to embarrass President Olusegun Obasanjo in the final days of his presidency.
