Incident Summary:

09/24/2007: A suicide bombing on a mosque in Baquba, Iraq, killed 20 people and wounded 30 others during the daily fast. Colonel Ali Dulan, leader of the Baquba police, was one of the 20 killed. The unidentified suicide bomber wore an explosive belt and detonated his bomb in the middle of crowd. Al Qaida in Iraq was suspected of being behind the attack to disrupt Sunni and Shi i reconciliation.
