11/18/2007: At least 10 people were killed and 21 injured when a parked car bomb exploded in Al-Hurriyah Square in central Baghdad's Karrada neighborhood. The target was Salman al-Mukhtar, a top Iraqi finance official, but he escaped unhurt. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
