01/14/2008: A remotely detonated bomb exploded in Yala’s morning market leaving approximately thirty seven civilians injured. The insurgents detonated by bomb via cell phone on a stolen motorcycle. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however the Muslim insurgency has been particularly active in this region.
