04/17/2008: On Thursday evening, a suicide bomber killed 24 civilians and wounded more than 30 at the central mosque in Zaranj, Nimruz province, Afghanistan, as people prepared for evening prayers. Police suspected that there may have been more than one bomber. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
