Incident Summary:

05/09/2008: On Friday, at 1745, a bomb exploded at the City Café Hotel near the Ampara Clock tower in Ampara, North Eastern, Sri Lanka. The blast killed 11 civilians and injured 29 others. Police suspect Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam militants of setting of the bomb but no claim was made.
