Incident Summary:

06/24/2008: On Tuesday, assailants riding motorcycles fired on a supply convoy with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades in Salar, near Seyyedabad, Wardak, Afghanistan. The assailants beheaded seven drivers and set fire to the convoy, burning approximately 50 fuel tankers and food trucks carrying supplies for the United States military. No group claimed responsibility, but sources indicate the Taliban was responsible for the attack.
