07/09/2008: On Wednesday, in Doaba, North-West Frontier, Pakistan, approximately 400 armed assailants barricaded a police station, keeping 35 police officers inside hostage. No casualties, damage, or motive were reported. On 07/10/2008, the assailants retreated, allowing the hostages inside the station to leave. The Taliban claimed responsibility.
