08/14/2008: On Thursday, at 2334, nine people were killed and 33 were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a police station near Moon Market in Allama Iqbal Town neighborhood in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Most of those injured were policemen.

Criteria 1

Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators. For example, a bomb that exploded in a building would be counted as a success even if it did not, for example, succeed in bringing the building down or inducing government repression.
