08/26/2008: On Tuesday night, at 2215, in the Model Town area, near Islamabad, Pakistan, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device near a hotel restaurant, killing eight civilians, wounding 20 others, damaging the hotel and one taxi cab. No motive was reported and no group claimed responsibility.
