Incident Summary:

09/10/2008: On Wednesday evening, unknown assailants detonated an improvised explosive device at a railroad track in Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Western Province, Sri Lanka. The blast caused an unknown amount of damage to the railroad tracks but caused no casualties. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident but the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam are suspected of the blast.
