Incident Summary:

09/22/2008: On Monday, at 0100, a car bomb exploded killing a soldier, wounding one solider and wounding five others in Santona, Cantabria, Spain. The vehicle-borne improvised explosive device exploded at a military academy and damaged the building and several nearby vehicles and shops. The Basque Fatherland and Liberty claimed responsibility for the attack by calling the Highway Assistance Association before the attack.
