09/25/2008: On Thursday, at an unknown time, in Orchosani, Shid Kartli, Georgia, armed assailants fired upon an Ashtrom Group road construction crew, wounding one construction worker and damaging his vehicle. The armed assailants then took seven construction workers hostage. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed that Georgian South Ossetian separatists were responsible.
