Incident Summary:

10/01/2008: On Wednesday, suspected Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist militants assaulted the Nepali Congress district member, Purna Bahadur Lamtari, in the Baldyanggairi-two village of Palpa, Lumbini, Nepal. The attack was in response to an anti-Maoist speech given by the district member. No claim of responsibility was made for the incident.
