10/10/2008: On Friday, between Al Junaynah, Gharb Darfur, Sudan and Kulbus, Gharb Darfur, Sudan, armed assailants fired upon a government convoy, killing at least two government officials, four soldiers, nine people, and damaging several vehicles. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed that the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) was responsible.
