Incident Summary:

10/26/2008: On Sunday, 20 militants, six militiamen and four bystanders were killed when Taliban militants attempted to abducted a tribal militia leader in Swat, North West Frontier, Pakistan. One of the militiamen was beheaded in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack and stated the attack "was a lesson for anyone who tried to oppose them."
