Incident Summary:

10/29/2008: On Wednesday between Goma and Rutshuru, North Kivu, Congo (Kinshasa), suspected National Congress for the Defence of People (CNDP) militants fired five rockets at a United Nations Mission for the Democratic Republic of Congo (UNMONUC) convoy. The peacekeepers were escorting civilians, traveling on the road between Goma and Rutshuru, near the village of Kalenera. No casualties were sustained in this attack.
