10/31/2008: On Friday, a suicide bomber attacked the convoy of a regional police chief in Mardan city, Northwest Frontier Province, Pakistan killing three police and wounding 22 others. The attacker was on foot and hit the first vehicle of the convoy as it emerged from the police chief's residence. No group claimed responsibility.
