Incident Summary:

11/03/2008: On Monday, unknown gunmen abducted the chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association from his home in Enugu Ukwa, Anambra State, Nigeria. According to witnesses, Dr. Tochukwu Mbachu was taken from his house and placed in a stolen green 406 Peugeuot, which was later found abandoned on Awkuzu-Otuocha road. No claim of responsibility or ransom demands have been made and the status of the hostage is unknown.
