Incident Summary:

12/14/2008: On Sunday, at around 1200, in the Karrada neighborhood in downtown Baghdad, Iraq, a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) detonated in Nidhal street near al Qasr al-Abyad Hotel. Three civilians were wounded in the bombing and the hotel was damaged. No group claimed responsibility, but Iraqi authorities suspected Mahdi Army (JAM) splinter groups were responsible.
