Incident Summary:

12/21/2008: On Sunday, in a rural zone that goes through Campo Alegre, in Valle del Guamuez, Putumayo, Colombia, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device (IED), damaging an oil pipeline, "Oso." The military defused a second IED at the scene. There were no casualties reported. No group claimed responsibility, although the military suspected the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia were responsible.
