Incident Summary:

03/24/2009: On Tuesday at 2300, suspected Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) militants forcibly took seven farmers, killed five and injured two in Dehiwatte village in Serunuwara, North Eastern, Sri Lanka. The farmers were hands were tied prior to being shot. No group claimed responsibility, thought its believed that the LTTE was responsible.
