Incident Summary:

03/31/2009: On Tuesday, the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) alleged that one of its cadres, "˜corporalâ Morinshang, was abducted by the rival National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) cadres from Super Market Bus parking area in Dimapur, Nagaland, India. The NSCN-IM said that "It is believed that the K-group is directed to create a panic situation in Dimapur as part of the game plan to counter weight the NSCN in the parliamentary election campaign." No casualties have been reported in the incident and the outcome of the hostage taking is unknown.
