06/13/2009: On Saturday evening at 2030, in Kannur, Kerala, India, a Communist Party of India- Marxist worker, E.P. Raveendran, age 48, was hacked to death by suspected Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers. The CPI-M worker was attacked by assailants inside his tea shop near the Mahe Service Co-operative branch. No group claimed responsibility.
