Incident Summary:

5/12/2010: Around 20 suspected Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) activists kidnapped Nepali Congressman Balkrishna Yadav from his residence in Sothayan, Siraha, Nepal. JTMM did not claim responsibility for the attack, but the local police superintendent named two members as being involved in the abduction. The motive behind the abduction is unknown.
