Incident Summary:

08/07/2010: On Saturday evening, at the al-Ashaar market, Basra, Al Basrah, Iraq, unidentified assailants detonated three vehicle born improvised explosive devices placed in cars within minutes of each other. The bombing killed 43 civilians and wounded another 185. The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The attack caused an unknown amount of damage. No group claimed responsibility.
