Incident Summary:

09/25/2010: On Saturday evening, in the main market square of Al Hota, Shabwa province, Yemen, security forces safely defused a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device intended to be used in a suicide car bombing attack targeting army soldiers. The vehicle contained an unspecified amount of explosives, detonators, rocket propelled grenades, mortar shells and sticks of dynamite. There were no casualties or damages and no group claimed responsibility, although Al Qaeda Organization in the Arabian Peninsula was strongly suspected.
