Incident Summary:

01/07/2011: On Friday evening, in Laoder, Abyan, Yemen, suspected Al Qaeda Organization in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) militants attacked three military vehicles that were escorting Muhsen Juzailan, the commander of Brigade 111, killing four soldiers and wounding two others. The commander was not injured in the attack and no damages were reported. No group claimed responsibility but the Al Qaeda Organization in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) was suspected.
