03/27/2011: On Sunday morning at 0600, in an unknown city, Ma'rib, Yemen, suspected Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) gunmen attacked a military police checkpoint. Three soldiers and three officers were killed, and eight others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
