Incident Summary:

10/27/2011: On Thursday, in Mandera, North Eastern, Kenya, eight education and security officials were killed when militants fired several rocket propelled grenades and unknown firearms at a government bus. The attack caused an unknown amount of property damage to the bus. The militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack in an interview with reporters.
