Incident Summary:

10/28/2011: On Friday afternoon around 1500, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a 23-year-old gunman, identified as Mevlid Jasarevic, opened fire on the United States embassy building with an AK-47 rifle. One police officer was injured. Police returned fire and injured Mevlid before arresting him. There were no other casualties and no group claimed responsibility for the attack. Police believe that Mevlid acted alone.
