11/5/2011: A police vehicle struck a landmine in Dadaab refugee complex, North Eastern province, Kenya. The vehicle was in the lead escorting a U.N. convoy when it hit the device; the landmine failed to detonate but the convoy was turned around anyway as a security measure. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
