Incident Summary:

11/30/2011: An explosive device detonated at the entrance to the Sangai Festival, a large tourist event, near the convention center in East District, Imphal city, Manipur state, India. It is unclear whether the rickshaw operator was a willing participant in the incident. Specific motive is unknown; however, the KCP had called a 72-hour strike that was due to end the day following the explosion.
