Incident Summary:

12/7/2011: A meeting of police officers was interrupted when at least 10 members of the Taliban entered the meeting and began firing upon the officers in the Warduj district, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. Two officers were killed, two were wounded and six were kidnapped. The perpetrators also destroyed three trucks during their getaway. The Taliban claimed the attack.
