12/16/2011: The staff canteen at the prison in Garissa, North Eastern Province, Kenya was damaged when a grenade was thrown into it. No injuries were reported. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack, saying such attacks would continue unless Kenya removed their troops from Somalia.
