Incident Summary:

12/28/2011: Police Cpl. Anuchit Taweesaplamlert was wounded when a buried explosive, remotely triggered by a cell phone, was detonated in Bang Klang, Pattani, Thailand. The attack occurred while a group of seven police officers were patrolling the area. The perpetrators then opened fire on the police officers. A pickup truck and the road were damaged by the explosion. No claim of responsibility was reported.
