Incident Summary:
01/31/2012: Assailants attacked a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint in Marwar area, Balochistan province, Pakistan. This was one of four attacks on FC checkpoints in Balochistan on this date. Eighteen people were killed and 12 injured across the four attacks. A Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson claimed that the incidents were in response to the killings of Nawab Akbar Bugti's granddaughter and great-granddaughter.

Criteria 1
